Rap Mogul Sean Carter, formally known as Jay-Z released his 13th solo album on June 30th. The release of this album was extremely timely. On various levels this album has motivated me to keep going

and tunnel my focus on what really matters.

In the simplest form for me this album embodied:

  • Misrepresentation
  • Self-esteem

  • Confidence

As a lover of words, and hip hop, this album restored my enthusiasm for the culture.
